School Closure 12:45pm

Dear Parents and Caregivers
As you are aware, the March union meetings regarding current contract negotiations were postponed due to events in Christchurch. We have been advised that the meetings have been rescheduled for next week. Remuera Intermediate School staff will be attending a meeting on the afternoon of Friday 10 May.
The Board of Trustees has elected to close for instruction at 12:45pm on Friday 10 May to ensure all staff are able to attend the latest contract negotiation talks. For health and safety reasons we are unable to remain open for instruction due to the limited number of staff who can remain at school to supervise our 900+ students.
Parents and caregivers must therefore make arrangements for your child/children to travel home at 12:45pm on Friday 10 May.
