The RI Cheer Team has been the National Champion school team for many years.
Participants are expected to commit to the entire year including practices on Mondays & Tuesdays at lunchtime and Fridays 12:30 - 3:00 pm throughout the year. For Terms 1 & 4, practices will be on Mondays & Tuesdays at lunchtime in th school hall. In Terms 2 and 3, the team will train on both Mondays and Tuesdays during lunchtime in the school hall and on Fridays afternoon offsite at Cheer Dynamix Gym.

Trials
Trials are held on 4 March 2024 in the School Hall. Trials are open to anyone interested in cheerleading however previous experience in gymnastics or cheerleading is an advantage.

Competitions
The team takes part in a variety of competitions throughout the year.
Fees
Fees vary depending on the location of competitions entered and will be advised during the registration process.
The School provides uniforms however each cheerleader will need to purchase cheerleading shoes.
Team Management
Parent support is important for competitions and offsite training on Fridays. There is an opportunity during the registration process to indicate any offers of assistance.
