2023 Year 7 Camps

In week 9 of Term 1, All Year 7 Students will have the opportunity to go to Camp Adair in the Hunua Ranges near Papakura. The 3-day camp's objectives are to provide the children with experiences that are educational, challenging, and fun. This supports the school's mission statement to develop resilient, compassionate, and responsible members of our community.

We will be heading out to camp in two groups as organised below.

Camp 1 GREEN CAMP:     
Monday 27th March - Wednesday 29th March
Rooms 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18

Camp 2 BLUE CAMP:        
Wednesday 29th March - Friday 31st March
Rooms 1, 8, 9, 10, 26, 27, 28

So that we can calculate numbers for accommodation and catering, we ask that you complete this form by Friday 10th March 2023 and appreciate your prompt reply as we are operating with a shorter timeline this year. 

We will be seeking support from our parents to help supervise camp activities. It is essential that we have enough parent volunteers so we do hope you are able to help so the camps can go ahead.  Please provide details of your availability on this form if you would like to help at this year's camp.

The cost of the 2023 Camp is $315.00 (incl. GST) which covers the transport, accommodation, meals, and instructors. Payments are required by Wednesday 15th March 2023. Details regarding payment will be shared this week.

A camp meeting will be held in the school hall on Wednesday 8th March at 6.00 pm for all parents interested in learning more about the camp. Here is the FAQ sheet for your information.

Thank you for your support with our camp and we are very grateful for your help. This is quite possibly the highlight of year 7 and everyone is looking forward to taking part.
