Netball Trials 2020

Information for Parents

Dear Parents/Caregivers

Welcome to the start of the 2020 Netball season. We are looking forward to another exciting year of action on the courts. Please take time to read the information below and complete the attached form to give permission for your child to attend the upcoming netball trials for 2020. Please return the completed form to Mrs Herbert in the Digitech room by Monday March 2nd. No form, no trial, no exceptions. 

Once trials are completed, teams will be notified and full details regarding fee payments and uniform purchasing will be provided along with the contact details of other members in the team. Please read the information below before confirming your child's participation in the upcoming trials.

Trial Venue:    
Remuera Intermediate School

Trial Dates:    
Year 7 Trials
Tues 3rd March  3.15 – 4.15pm
Call Backs if required Thurs 12th March 3.15 – 4.15pm

Year 8 Trials
Thurs 5th March  3:15 – 4:15pm
Call Backs if required Tues 10th March 3.15 – 4.15pm

Competition Venue:  
Auckland Netball Centre, Alison Fergusson Drive, St Johns

Competition Day:    
Tuesday Afternoons/Evenings. Start Term 2 - May 5th / Finish Term 3 - August 25th

Start Times:    
Start times range from 4pm-7pm TBC Weekly

Umpires:    
ANC Umpires are currently being organised by RI (included in fees)

Transport:    
Parents/Players are responsible for organising transport to and from the courts

Uniform:
RI Netball Uniforms for all players are available for purchase directly through the Uniform Shop for $60 (Dress/Bike Pants).
Samples will be available at school for sizing along with measurements on the Uniform Shop website.
Orders must be made by Friday 27th March to ensure delivery before the season commences.

Player Fees:    
The fee for the season is $80 per person which includes registration, umpires fees and equipment for each team.
This must be paid in full through the school portal or at the office by Friday 27th March.

Coaches/Managers:    
Each team is responsible for arranging their own coach and manager.

Please Note:
Teams will only be registered once all members have paid in full and a coach and manager have been confirmed.
